Pinot Nero is the Italian name for Pinot Noir.

It arrived in the northern region of Alto Adige, from France at the turn of the 19th century.

The most suitable area for the Pinot Nero is the highland in Trentino Alto Adige between 300 and 750 meters. It grows in the regional areas of Breganze and Piave.

Homebrew quality wine kits based on Chardonnay grapes will always give you a very good homemade wine, ready to drink in 6-8 weeks but will improve with ageing. For maximum quality, combine with toasted American oak chippings to achieve just the right "smoked" Chardonnay flavour and complex character.

This is the most well known of the worlds white wines. In France, the grapes are wiedly planted in the Chablis and Burgundy regions. In Italy it can be found in the Trentino and Friuli regions.

Giulio Ferrari introduced this vine in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century in an attempt to repair the Italian viticulture that had been severly hit by phylloxera.

Riesling or rather Italic Riesling in our case, has a very controversial origin. Some experts dates the origin back to the Roman Empire and a grape called Aminea Gemella and the ancient wines of Amineo and maybe the white Falerno.

This hypothesis is confirmed by the considerable similarities that today reconnect the Italic Riesling with the Greco of Tufo (cultivated today in the Campania region) that is a direct descendant of these two ancient wines.

This vine likes the fresh grounds of the plains, it has a good productivity and it can also adapt itself to different climates. This characteristic has made into one of the favourite white grapes, today cultivated in Italy, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Chile and California
